The song just acquired a new milestone a while ago after peaking on the No. 4 spot on Billboard Global 200 Singles Chart.
It is the first African song to be part of the top 5 songs on the chart. The song has become the most-streamed Aftobeats song in 2021. It became a hit song a few months ago after it started trending on social media platform, TikTok.
It is also the first Afrobeats song to be on the No. 1 spot on both Shazam Global chart and Shazam US Chart. The song has made CKay one of the most streamed artistes on Spotify this year.
CKay is the first African artiste to surpass fifteen (15), million monthly listeners, on Spotify. As it stands now, he has nineteen (19) to almost twenty (20) million monthly listeners on the platform.
The song is trending in over ten non-African countries. It is by far the most popular African song in the world this year (2021).
