Kamala Harris, the Vice President of the United States, has scheduled a visit to New Jersey to promote vaccines and Biden’s child care plans.

According to a White House official who spoke on the condition of anonymity ahead of the trip announcement, Harris is scheduled to visit Montclair and Newark on Friday to discuss President Joe Biden’s budget plan and to urge Americans to get the coronavirus vaccination.

The expenditure proposal, which is anticipated to be cut from its current price tag of $3.5 trillion, would increase and lower the cost of child care, making it easier for women to work outside the house.

During the coronavirus epidemic, many women lost their employment because schools and child care institutions were closed, forcing them to stay at home.

The proposal would provide free preschool for 3- and 4-year-olds, raise child care worker wages, reduce child care expenses, and prolong the tax credit for individuals caring for children or other dependents.

The proposal would also extend health care, combat climate change, and remove the Republican tax law’s $10,000 cap on state and local tax deductions.
