The Managing Director of Multichoice Nigeria, parent production of the Big Brother Naija reality TV show, has revealed that the just ended 6th season of the show recorded the highest votes ever in the history of the reality show.

According to Mr. John Ugbe, the show recorded 1billion votes from the different voting platforms. He also added that in the final week, the show amassed about 300 million votes.
Mr. Ugbe shared this during media briefing at the prize presentation for the season’s winner, Whitemoney, in Lagos today, Monday, October 4th.

He also went on to has reveal that the cost production for this 6th season of the show was N4.3 billion.
This season’s BBNaija came to an end on Sunday, October 3rd, and saw Whitemoney emerge as the winner of the show. Liquorose was the 1st runner up whiles Pere came in 3rd place followed by Cross, then Angel, and Emmanuel.
Whitemoney amassed the most of the votes beating, Liquorose with about 25% of votes.
