Nigerian Afrobeats star, CKay has now raked in over fifteen (15) million monthly listeners on Spotify, becoming the first Afrobeats artiste to do so.

He is now the African artiste with the most monthly listeners on the music streaming platform. CKay gradually moved from tens of thousands a few months ago to millions after his song ‘Love Nwantiti’ became a global hit song.
‘Love Nwantiti’ alone has been streamed over forty-six (46) million times. It also has millions of streams on other platforms.
CKay has now surpassed Tems who was sitting on the No. 1 spot on the Africa artistes with the most monthly listeners on Spotify. Tems has 14.9 million monthly listeners, just behind him.
Some people have expressed that Afrobeats is in the hands of great African artistes like Rema, Tems, CKay, Naira Marley, and others who are making it big even without albums out yet.
Others also shared that it’s their time so they should do well to enjoy it and make good use out of it.
