This number of streams includes all his personal songs and songs he has been credited on. CKay is also the most-streamed Afrobeat artiste in September 2021 with a total of 8.03 million streams just this month (September).
CKay became popular after his song, ‘Love Nwantiti went viral on TikTok. The song has been used by multiple users on the social media platform and has gradually become the most trending Afrobeat song on the platform.

It has been used by the Manchester United Tiktok page, played at Met Gala 2021, and many other platforms. CKay is currently enjoying a very fruitful moment after his single went viral. Some fans have expressed that he has the potentials, and therefore, can become one of the biggest acts in Africa to make Afrobeat more popular like his predecessors.
