Pere has made it known that the only thing that can happen between him and former love interest Maria, outside the big brother house, is friendship.

He shared this when the housemates asked him what he will do if Maria welcomes him with open arms, ready to date him, after the show.
He claimed that he and Maria can only be friends as he has a girlfriend, and unless his girlfriend leaves him, before he might consider a relationship with Maria.
Though Pere has a relationship outside, he caught feelings with Maria and was all over her when she was in the house, however, with Maria’s eviction and knowing she’s gone back to her own relationship, Pere seems to have let go of his feelings.
Maria, however, has also made it known that she doesn’t want to have anything at all to do with Pere, not even friendship as she was unhappy with Pere telling the housemate whatever happened between them, which she has said, never happened.
