Charlotte Johnson Wahl: Who Is Boris Johnson’s Mother Who Died Aged 79?

Charlotte Maria Offlow Johnson Wahl, also known as Fawcett was born on 29th May, 1942. She was an artist. She was the mother of Boris Johnson, current British Prime Minister. She was the daughter of Frances and James Fawcett. She attended Oxford University, where she read English. She is known to be the first married female undergraduate at Lady Margaret Hall.

Charlotte Johnson Wahl met Stanley Johnson at Oxford. Later in 1963, she married Stanley Johnson in Marylebone, London. She later took a break from her studies to go to the United States with her husband, Stanley Johnson. She later returned to Oxford University and was awarded a second-class honours degree.

Charlotte Johnson Wahl’s art exhibitions are known to be successful. And her paintings range from £1,000 to £5,000. In 1979, she divorced Stanley Johnson. She however remarried Nicholas Wahl, an American professor in 1988, but he died in 1996. At age 40, she was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease.  Charlotte Johnson however died on 13th September, 2021, aged 79.
