Stanley Johnson: Meet Boris Johnson’s Father Who Is A Former Member Of The European Parliament

Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson was born on June 19, 1964. He is currently serving as the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.  He is also the Leader of the Conservative Party. He has been occupying this position since July 2019.

Stanley Johnson’s parents are Stanley Johnson and Anne Fawcett. At the time Boris was born, His 23-year-old father was studying economics at Columbia University. Stanley Patrick Johnson was born on August 18, 1940. He served as a Member of the European Parliament for Wight and Hampshire East from 1979 to1984. He belonged to the Conservative Party during his political days. Stanley Johnson is also an author and has written several books on population and the environment.

Stanley Johnson served as an employee of the World Bank and also used to be the Head of Prevention of Pollution Division at the European Commission for six years. He was also a board member of Plantlife International.

Mr. Johnson then became chairman of a Gorilla Organisation, an entity that made it its mandate to save the remaining existing gorillas from extinction. He also served as an ambassador for the United Nations Environmental Programme (UNEP) Convention on the Conservation of Migratory Species of Wild Animals, located in Germany.
