English Premier League side, Manchester United, has used popular song ‘Love Nwantiti’ by Nigerian singer, CKay in a video snippet of Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Red Devils took to their TikTok page to celebrate the song as they used it as a soundtrack for the Portuguese International.
The song played at the background of the video as the player walks comfortably on the pitch. ‘Love Nwantiti’ was also played at the Met Gala Fashion event on Monday 13th September 2021.
The song is by far the most used Afrobeat song on TikTok this year. According to sources, it is the number one most searched song on Shazam Global Songs Chart.
The song has been remixed by other artistes, which has also helped in making it trend in various country. The first remix was done with AX’EL and DJ Yo!, and the second was done with Joeboy and Kuami Eugene.
However, the original song was released in 2019, but it started picking up earlier this year (2021) after it was remixed for TikTok videos.
