Grammy award winner, Burna Boy, was star-struck when he got a FaceTime video call from NBA Finals MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Burna shouted in joy when he got a video call from the Basketball player. Giannis equally looked happy and expressed that he has been a big fan of the African Giant for a long time. Burna retorted that he has also been the biggest fan of the sports athlete. They exchanged a few words for a brief moment as the atmosphere was filled with happiness. Burna Boy’s song was used as a soundtrack for Giannis’ highlights when he won the NBA Finals MVP in the 2021 season.

Giannis is half-Greek, half Nigerian. His father was a Nigerian Football player but his mother is a former Greek higher jumper. He won the 2021 NBA Finals MVP: Buck Stars, becoming the youngest player to win the award since Kawhi Leonard in 2014.
Burna Boy has inked his name internationally to the extent that he has become one of the most sought-after Afrobeats artiste on many international projects. He featured in the same advert with top international footballers like Messi, Paul Pogba, and others, which was done by Pepsi. He is the first Nigerian contemporary solo artiste to win a Grammy Award for an album.
