Nigerian Pop Artiste, Iyanya Mbuk, has been appointed by the Governor of Cross River State, Professor Ben Ayade as the Senior Special Assistant for Tourism and Entertainment.

Popularly known as Iyanya, the ‘Mr Oreo’ hitmaker is a native of Cross River State, therefore, it’s only right he serves his state diligently. Along with him, Prod Ayade appointed twenty-six (26) others, in a statement issued today, Wednesday 1st September 2021.

“His Excellency the State Governor, Sir Ben Ayade has approved the immediate engagement of the under-listed persons in fulfillment of his promise to engage 500 members of the All Progressives Congress. They are to proceed to their respective local governments of origin for documentation,” the statement read.
Iyanya rose to fame after winning the first season of Project Fame West Africa. He is best known for his hit single ‘Kukere.’ Some of his songs include, Iyanya (My Story), Ur Waist, Sexy Mama featuring Wizkid, and more.
