Gregg Leakes, the husband of Real Housewives Of Atlanta alum, NeNe Leakes, has died aged 66.

The cause of Gregg Leakes’ death is colon cancer.
The death of Nene’s husband comes two days after she indicated that Gregg was dying at home. Nene said in a reaction after customers at her Atlanta Lounge accused her of being rude for failing to wish someone a happy birthday.

In a video, NeNe can be heard saying: “My husband is transitioning to the other side.”
She went on to say that: “You don’t know what we’re dealing with right now.
“We walked in this lounge because we had to walk in this lounge because this is our business.
“So, when people approach and say, ‘you’re rude because you don’t want to say happy birthday,’ my husband is at home dying.
“I don’t want to say ‘happy birthday,’ okay?”
Soon after the incident, NeNe shared a heartbreaking post on Instagram and captioned it “I’m broken”.
Gregg was first diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer in 2018. According to multiple sources, the business mogul had been in remission since 2019, but his wife announced in June 2021 that her husband’s cancer had unfortunately returned. In July, Gregg returned home after spending six weeks receiving treatment for his cancer.
NeNe and Gregg got married in 1997 and soon welcomed their son, Brentt, in 1999. Their marriage has gone through a rough patch, which led to their divorce in 2011. The couple reconciled the following year and Gregg proposed to NeNe on January 1, 2013; the couple remarried on June 22, 2013, at Atlanta’s InterContinental Buckhead Hotel. Prior to meeting Nene, Gregg was already a father to five children. Alongside his son (Brentt) with NeNe, Gregg has four sons and one daughter: Daryl, Damian, Dexter, Denton, and Katrina.
At the time of his death, Gregg Leakes had an estimated net worth of $4 million. A wealth he acquired from more than 20 years of experience investing in the real estate market of Atlanta.
