Viewers of Big Brother Naija 2021 have been left in shock after Maria nominated Whitemoney for possible eviction on Sunday. Why are people surprised about this development?

Readers can recall that Whitemoney said he knew for sure Maria was a wildcard but did not nominate her. Whitemoney needs Maria in the show. Whitemoney correctly mentioned Pere as a Wildcard. So everyone expected Maria to return the favour by keeping Whitemoney in the show but this did not happen as expected.
As a wildcard, Big Brother gave Maria and Pere the exclusive power to nominate housemates for eviction should they fail to identify them (wildcards) and have them evicted. The housemates couldn’t fish out the wildcards so the wildcards now have the power to nominate housemates to be evicted this Sunday.
But Whitemoney’s nomination could be a blessing in disguise. He was already one of the favorites on the show and this event has attracted a lot of sympathy for him. Twitter user @chanty4t believes this will boost Whitemoney’s chances and probably win the competition.
