Bridget Moynahan is an American actress and model best recognized for her portrayal of Erin Reagan in the police drama Blue Bloods.

Kathryn Bridget Moynahan on April 28, 1971, in Binghamton, New York, USA, to Irish American parents, Mary Bridget Moriarty, and Edward Bradley Moynahan. Her mother, Mary is a former school teacher while her father Edward is a scientist and former administrator at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

Bridget Moynahan was raised alongside two brothers, Andy and Sean. Her family moved to Longmeadow, Massachusetts when she was seven years old. Regarding her education, she attended Longmeadow High School where she graduated in 1989.

Following her high school graduation, Bridget Moynahan started modelling and did several commercials. During that time, Bridget Moynahan also attended the ‘University of Massachusetts Amherst.’ She also took acting lessons from ‘Caymichael Patten Studio,’ New York.
