The Zambia female team, The Copper Queens were handed a humiliating 10-3 bashing by the Netherlands Women’s team who are the reigning UEFA European Women’s Champions on their debut game. However, it was Barbra Banda who went into the history books of individual records.

Barbra Banda netted a hat trick and became the first female player from Africa to do so. Barbra’s hat trick was her first Olympics goal as she competes in the Olympics for the first time. I was also The Copper Queens’ first goal at the Olympics.

Barbra Banda continues her dominance as she netted another hat trick against China to share spoils. She becomes the first female player to score two hat tricks at the Olympics games and she is only 21. Barbra has 6 goals from 2 games. Next, is Brazil. It’s Barbra’s world, we living it.
