Burna Boy Congratulates Giannis Antetokounmpo After His Song Was Featured In The New MVP’s Celebration Video On Bleachers Report

Greek-Nigerian Basketball player, Giannis Antetokounmpo, has been awarded NBA Champions Finals MVP today after his incredible performance throughout the season, which led his team to carry the trophy.

Giannis’ performance has been absolutely phenomenal throughout the season even though he had a few setbacks when he got injured three weeks before the final match. In an interview with the new MVP, he made reference to how amazing and inspiring his parents’ country, Nigeria has been supportive from the onset. He also added that as he becomes the role model for the young ones, they should see him as someone who never gave up and copy such traits from him.

Grammy award-winning artist, Burna Boy whose talent has arguably become the most cherished one in the world lately took to social media to congratulate the new basketball champion. A while ago, Burna recorded a soundtrack for Giannis’ video snippets put together by International sports reporters, Bleachers Report.

This is not the first time something like this has happened. Burna Boy once made a song for English Premier League side, Manchester United during one of their jersey exhibitions. He was also featured in a Pepsi football advert along with Messi and Pogba.
