Nigerian businessman, Obi Cubana, has sparked more reactions on social media after he purchased an expensive diamond pendant in honour of his late mother.

Obi Cubana lost his mother, Mrs Ezinne Uche Iyiegbu in December 2020 at the age of 78 and to always remember her, he ordered a pendant worth N50K. The pendant was made by an expensive jeweller who shared a picture of it on his Instagram page. The jeweller mentioned in the post that Obi asked him for a pendant worth 100K.
Meanwhile, to support him for the final funeral rites which are expected to take place over the weekend, his friends have gifted him with a lot of luxurious items including cows to help cut costs for the burial.
The chairman of the Cubana group made this known in a video that went viral on social media. In the video, he stated that “246 cows and counting, who wan chop meat ooh”.
