Argentine International, Emiliano Buendia has completed his transfer from the newly-promoted side, Norwich City to premier league side, Aston Villa.

Buendia was named Championship player of the season for 2020-21 following Norwich’s promotion to Premier League after scoring 15 goals and 16 assists, creating more chances than any other player in the division.
Emiliano Buendia completes the transfer record of £33 million with ad-on which could rise to £40 million. Aston Villa beat league rivals Arsenal to the signature of the formidable midfielder to pair with Jack Grealish.

“Aston Villa and Norwich City have reached an agreement for the transfer of Emiliano Buendia.” Aston Villa said in a statement
“As Emiliano is currently in the Argentina national team’s biosecure bubble, preparing for a World Cup qualifying match with Colombia on Tuesday evening, he will undergo a medical and complete the transfer after the game” the statement added.
