Actress, Iyabo Ojo, has sent out a stern warning to her industry colleagues concerning the current, Baba Ijesha rape case.

The actor is currently in police custody awaiting trial for allegedly raping a 14-year-old girl for 7 years.
Baba Ijesha was arrested last week and according to reports, the police have shared that, he has confessed to the crime and there is CCTV evidence of the actor in the victim’s house.
Since the issue broke, some of his colleagues, mostly the actresses, have come out to some on the issue. Though some have condemned him, others have however spoken on his behalf, claiming that he might be innocent.
But actress, Iyabo has sent out a strong warning to those defending Ijesha to put a stop to it as it is a sensitive issue that involves a child.
She said the support for rapists is the reason many victims are afraid to come forward to accuse them. She said, either they wait for the court to decided the final verdict or they should all keep quiet about it and not harm the girl any further.
She also urged people to not share any video that has the girl in it as it will also affect her in the future.
