“We Used To Be Good Friends”- Davido Opens Up On Beef With Wizkid

Popular Nigerian singer, Davido, has opened up on his beef with his colleagues Wizkid in the music industry.

According to the singer, he has no issues with Wizkid, however, fans are to be blamed for the sour relationship between them. He made this known during an interview on Ionwannatalk podcast.

Davido further disclosed that it is interesting how he and Wizkid failed to collaborate on a song together despite their 10 years of friendship. He attributed this to not being in the same place mentally as Wizkid.

Before Davido and Wizkid embraced and performed together at Wizkid’s concert, which was held at the Eko Convention Centre in Lagos in December 2017, fans of the two had for years been in a heated battle of supremacy along the lines of chart list dominance, talents as well as number of international collaborations.

The climax of the beef was when team members of both artists reportedly clashed in Dubai at the One Africa Music Festival in November 2017.
