COVID-19: President, Nana Akufo-Addo To Update Ghanaians On The Measures Taken To Curb The Spread Of The Virus

Ghanaian president, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will update the people of Ghana on the measures taken to curb the spread of the virus. Today’s address will be the 24th time the president has addressed Ghanaians.

Ghana was not left out when covid-19 took over the world. Parts of the country went under emergency lockdown due to how fast the virus was spreading. Ghana has as of February 24, 2021, has recorded eighty-three thousand, two hundred and twelve (83,212) cases.

Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo

Out of this number, seventy-seven thousand, One hundred and thirty-three (77, 137) have recovered leaving five thousand, four hundred and eighty-eight (5, 488) as the active cases with five hundred and ninety-nine (599) deaths. New cases recorded are six hundred and twenty-six (629). This is the number available to the public before the president speaks today at exactly 8 pm Ghana time.

Ghana has received the first batch of the covid-19 vaccines and the citizens expect to hear from the President on how it would be rolled out.
