Former BBNaija housemate, Mercy Eke, has pleaded on the management of the Twitter app to give her friend, Erica a verification tag just like other popular celebrities have.

The blue verified badge on Twitter lets people know that an account of public interest is authentic. To receive the blue badge, the person’s account must be authentic, notable, and active.
Erica’s fans who believe their queen has met all the requirements and qualified to be given the badge are worried about the delays. A fan identified as ‘Erica’s Bestie’, tagged Mercy in a tweet and stated that the manager of the app has refused to give their Erica a verification tag.

Mercy Eke who saw this tweet decided to use her platform to also advocate for her friend to be given the verification badge as soon as possible. She wrote; “@Twitter please verify @EricaNlewedim”.
