American born Nigerian singer, Davido, has received his first awards for the ongoing Headies Awards at the La Campagne Tropicana Beach Resort in Ibeju-Lekki, Nigeria.

The FEM hitmaker has begun the night with the Best Music Video Category of the night awards. Davido was nominated along with Wizkid, Teni, Fireboy and Yemi Alade. The One Milli music produced by Director K emerged the winner of the category.

The other songs the other competitors were nominated with are; Eli from Fireboy produced by Clarence Peters, 1 Milli from Davido produced Director K, Smile from Wizkid produced by Meji Alabi, Billionaire from Teni produced by Tg Omori and Shekere from Yemi Alade produced by Ovie Etseyatse.
The awards are ongoing but Tattoo from Fireboy has won the R&B Single category, Brymo has also won the Best Recoding of the Year, Pheelez has also won the producer of the year with Billionaire from Teni
