Everton Football Club manager, Carlo Ancelotti, has dedicated the long-awaited victory at Anfield against Liverpool Football Club to the supporters of the club.

Everton football club travelled to Anfield to face the league champions, Liverpool football club after twenty-two years of not recording a victory over Liverpool in the Merseyside derby. The clash of these two clubs is the biggest games in all competitions between them.
Liverpool football club has held the bragging rights of the kings of Merseyside Derby at Anfield for twenty-two years but Carlo Ancelotti who has coached Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and other big clubs led the club to break that curse. Liverpool possessed the games with 71% of football possession while Everton recorded 29% but two goals from Gylfi Sigurdson and Richarlison sealed the victory. James Rodriguez through pass to assist Richarlison upended the scoring for the visitors before England attacker, Dominic Calvert-Lewin won a penalty which was concerted by Sigurdson.
Carlo Ancelotti dedicated the victory to the fans who have supported and waited for this victory. This moves Everton to 7th position with 40 points the same points Liverpool takes to sit 6th on the league table.
