Ghanaian dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale, has taken to social media to share his views about doing music in Ghana after he missed out on many categories of the 3Music Awards 2021.

The self-acclaimed African dancehall king was omitted on many of the categories that he and his fan base, the Shatta Movement anticipated. The 3Music Award board definition of the various categories stipulate that Shatta Wale performed not to an expectation according to their calendar year.

Shatta Wale is the artiste to win the Artiste of the Year two consecutive years since its commencement before Sarkodie, the African rap superstar won it in 2020, the third edition of the awards.
Taking to his various social media platforms especially Twitter and Facebook, Shatta Wale said the other artiste has taken the music as if it is West African Examination Council paper. A direct shot to artistes who have received more nominees in this year’s edition.
