Miranda stood for election as City Councillor in 2016 representing the Progressive Party (PP). Even though he became the second most voted of his party, but couldn’t be elected.
He was a candidate for the Municipal Chamber by the Liberal Party and was elected, being one of the first transgender City Councillors of São Paulo.
He has had a number of relationships. He was married to Janaína Cincim in 2010 and divorced the same year. He later married Andressa Ferreira in 2018.
