Big Brother Naija Star, Tolanibaj has accused Nigerians of being colorist, as she believes they choose light-skinned people over dark-skinned/chocolate people.

Tolani made this claim while backing up a fan who thought the reality TV show star was being sidelined because of her skin colour.
According to the fan, Tolani is a beautiful, ‘top-notch babe’ with a “strong character, ambitious, and her self-assurance and confidence are top-notch” and for these reasons, she believes she should have had one of the biggest fan bases from last year’s BBNaija shows.
Tolanibaj responded, agreeing to tweet and claiming that, she is not getting the accolades and the recognition she deserves because “Nigerians are colorist.”

She went on to say that, “brown skin women in the industry deserve their accolades too” and added that, people need to stop “overlooking them and choosing them last.”
It is believed that what has sparked this ‘colorist’ claims from Tolani is because of the fact that, two of her former female housemates, who have the biggest fan base and recognition are both light skin.
