Popular Cameroonian crossdresser, Shakiro, has been arrested and sentenced to prison for practising homosexuality. Shakiro was arrested along with his other two partners during the act by the Cameroonian police.

Shakiro has been arrested several times and has been made to sign a bond to prevent him from engaging in the act that the country prohibit but has ignored the authorities to recruit more people into himself
According to Cameroon News Agency, the court of the first instance in Ndokotti Douala on Tuesday found them guilty for practising homosexuality which is a crime in Cameroon. The suspected homosexuals were sent to the New Bell Central Prison in Douala. It was gathered that Shakiro had been arrested several times and released.
The two partners who were arrested with him have also been sentenced and will serve the penalty awarded against them for promoting what the country prohibit to serve as a caution to others.
