Daymond John is an American businessman, TV personality, investor, motivational speaker, and author. Daymond John is popularly known as the CEO of FUBU (For Us, By Us) and also a popular investor that appears on the ABC series called Shark Tank, He is the founder of the Shark group.

Daymond John was born on 23 February 1969 in Brooklyn, New York City in the United States of America. Daymond John grew up in the Hollis neighborhood of Queens. He started working when he was only 10 years old because his parents divorced. During his school days in high school, Daymond John was allowed to work full time and go to school on an alternating weekly basis. This has increased his entrepreneurial spirit. Daymond John worked as a bartender at Red Lobster after he graduated from school.

Due to the entrepreneurial spirit cultivated by Daymond John, he worked harder to establish his own businesses. He established FUBU in his mother’s house in Queens which later became a success in 1992 when sports clubs began to print his FUBU logo on their Jersey.

In 2009, Daymond John was contacted by Mark Burnett giving him the offer to join ABC’s new reality business show, hark Tank which opens the floor for investors to advertise their businesses to investors. By the 11th season of the show, Daymond John invested $8,567,000 of his money in Shark Tank companies as of the year 2017.
