Former BBNaija housemate, Venita Akpofure, has lamented on how women are treated in the African continent despite their contributions and hard work in the society.

In a post sighted on her Twitter page, she narrated how she had to deal with a manager of a company for things that belongs to her. According to her, she was gifted a penthouse hotel experience for her birthday, but, this manger insisted he wanted to spend the night there as he couldn’t go home so she had to leave the room for him and go back to her house.

Venita went ahead and stated that she reported the case to the CEO of the company and realised that the manger was given huge money to buy her gifts but he kept the money to himself.
The BBNaija star said although the manager was asked to apologise to her, she never saw her contract again despite asking on several occasions.
