Kwesi Nyantakyi has held several key positions within the football circles including serving as the Vice-Chairman of the Ghana League Clubs Association(GHALCA)-a position which automatically made him the Vice President of the GFA. All seemed to be rosy for Kwesi Nyantakyi until renowned undercover journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas, released an investigative piece titled “Number 12:When Greed and Corruption Become the Norm” in 2018 which fingered him receiving a bribe from a supposed foreign investor. This led to his subsequent removal as president of the GFA.
