Julius Sello Malema is a South African politician, activist and a Member of Parliament. He is also the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Economic Freedom Fighters, a South African political party, which was founded in July 2013.

Julius Malema Biography
Malema was born on March 3, 1981, in Limpopo, formerly called Seshego, Transvaal Province. Raised by a single mother, Julius loved politics and began at a young age. He joined the African National Congress’ Masupatsela at the age of or ten and was tasked to remove National Party posters. He attended Mohlakaneng High School in Limpopo.
In 2011, he enrolled at UNISA and graduated in March 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and African Languages. In 2017, he obtained a BA (Honours) in Philosophy from UNISA. He is currently studying for a Master’s degree at the University of the Witwatersrand.

Julius is married to his long-time girlfriend, Mantwa Malema. It was in a private ceremony under heavy security in his hometown Seshego in 2014. They have two boys together but he has a son from a previous relationship called Ratanang born in 2006. His first child with Mantwa is Munzhedzi was born in 2016 while their second Kopano was born in 2018.

In 2011, Malema was given a car worth R1.2 million by MPPJ Property Development boss, Matome Hlaboia. According to reports, it was a thank you gift for scoring more than R200 million in state’s contracts in Limpopo. However, Matome denied that it was a thank you gift for helping him score such a deal.

Malema’s net worth is not exactly known but reports indicate that it ranges between $1 million and $5 million.
