In her recent post, she indicated that men of today do not marry women they love. However, they do marry women they need, in other words, women who would be able to help them in times of need. Sylvia’s comment in real life happens and it keeps occurring due to the opportunities men do come across.

Some men do consider marriage based on what they do get in return. Real love is now not considered because some decisions made by men are based on win-win situations. Though Sylvia based her assertion on men, women also do the same when the need arises.
Some women consider going into marriage because of their personal gains and because their needs would be met when in critical times.
