Barcelona is currently focused on reducing its wage bill as the transfer window is nearing its end and are planing the departure of key players like Ilkay Gündogan and some other out-of-favor players.
Should they successfully offload some players and free up wages, Barcelona could make a move for Federico Chiesa.

Federico Chiesa’s situation at Juventus has also sparked attention, as he was notably absent from Juventus’ opening game of the season against Como.
Juventus manager Thiago Motta commented on the situation and revealed that he is not interested in working with Chiesa and is ready to allow him leave.
Barcelona are looking to add one more attacking player to their squad before the end of the transfer window after they were not able to secure the signature of Nico Williams.
