Giovani Lo Celso Seeks Exit from Tottenham Before Transfer Deadline

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Giovani Lo Celso is reportedly seeking a move away from the North London club before the summer transfer window closes.

As Tottenham Hotspur prepare for their Premier League opener against Leicester City on Monday, August 19, Lo Celso is keen on an exit after struggling for game time last season.

According to football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, both Aston Villa and Real Betis are leading the race to sign the Argentine international.

Giovani Lo Celso joined Spurs from Real Betis in 2019 and has spent much of his time on loan in the Spanish La Liga.

Manager Ange Postecoglou has made several additions to the squad, including Archie Gray and Dominic Solanke, but Giovani Lo Celso’s departure seems likely as he looks for more consistent playing opportunities elsewhere.
