Ruben Baraja was clear in his stance, stating, “It’s very simple. He’s our player, and as long as there is no other different situation, I’m not going to evaluate anything.”
The Valencia boss emphasized that Giorgi Mamardashvili remains a key part of the team, saying, “He’s here, he’s ready to participate. We can’t talk about situations that haven’t happened yet.”

Ruben Baraja’s comments suggest that Valencia is not looking to offload the Georgian international, who has become a crucial figure at the club.
Giorgi Mamardashvili on the other hand is very willing to leave Valencia to join Liverpool this summer or in the next summer when the opportunity comes knocking.
With Liverpool also preparing for the future, signing Giorgi Mamardashvili will provide squad depth to their goalkeeping position.
