AC Milan Continues Midfielder Search, Eyes Manu Kone

Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who has taken on a leadership role at AC Milan, has revealed that the club is still monitoring Borussia Mönchengladbach midfielder Manu Kone.

This comes after the signing of Youssouf Fofana, who plays a similar role. Zlatan Ibrahimovic admitted, “Kone is a player we are following, one who has grown a lot and one we’ll have to see about.”

While the arrival of Youssouf Fofana has added depth to Milan’s midfield, Ibrahimovic noted that Kone remains on the club’s radar, saying, “Of course, the arrival of Fofana closes a bit of space because they play in the same role.”

AC Milan is carefully evaluating their options as they look to bolster their squad for the upcoming season.

Manu Kone became a household name last summer transfer window after his performance attracted the likes of Liverpool to express interest in him and chase for his signature.
