In an Instagram post, Edochie urged the public to accept that sometimes, staying apart is the best path to peace.

The actor, known for his often controversial views, responded to the public outcry for the brothers, Rudeboy and Mr. P, to reconcile following their most recent split.

Edochie, however, offered a different take, stating, “I see people say, ‘Rudeboy, go & make peace with your brother’, ‘Mr P, go & make peace with your brother’, I just laugh. Many people still don’t understand what life is about. Sometimes real peace comes from staying apart.”

Edochie further elaborated on his stance, arguing that the act of maintaining distance, or even blocking certain individuals, can be crucial for one’s personal peace and well-being. He asserted that forcing closeness, especially within families, can lead to undue stress and even premature death, particularly among men.

“Sometimes even some family members have to be blocked to achieve peace. Sometimes you just have to relate with people from a distance to have peace. Trying to be close will kill you. Life is short, especially for men,” he warned.

In his closing remarks, Edochie expressed his support for P-Square, regardless of whether they choose to reconcile or remain apart. He emphasized the importance of prioritizing their happiness and health over external pressures to maintain their relationship.

“It’s good to see Psquare together. But if they have to stay apart to be happy and alive for us, let them stay apart. We love them regardless,” Edochie wrote, concluding with a powerful reminder that “Being alive and happy is more important than being together.”
