Yves Bissouma posted the video on social media, leading to widespread criticism and prompting an apology from Bissouma, who acknowledged a severe lack of judgment.

Despite his apology, Spurs manager Ange Postecoglou emphasized that the suspension is necessary and noted that Bissouma needs to rebuild trust with both the team and coaching staff.

Since 2023, possession of nitrous oxide for recreational use has been a criminal offense in the United Kingdom, carrying a potential two-year prison sentence.

Ange Postecoglou stated that while the door remains open for Bissouma’s return, he must understand the broader impact of his actions and work hard to regain trust.

Yves Bissouma will definitely learn from his actions and will exhibit responsible behavior off the pitch.
