Shawn Ellis Amos, born September 13, 1967, is notably recognized as “The Reverend Shawn Amos,” a blues singer, songwriter, record producer, and digital marketing entrepreneur.
Shawn’s career in music and his role as a harmonica player continue to celebrate the family’s rich heritage.
Sarah Amos, who was born in Hawaii, recalls her father’s dedication to his business despite the challenges of managing operations across long distances. “It’s hard to run a business and to work with people on the mainland when you’re in Hawaii,” Sarah reflected. “But he made the sacrifice.”
Shawn and Sarah both recognize how their father’s creation has become a cherished family tradition. “The first time we made cookies with our kids, it sort of sunk in, this is actually a family thing,” Shawn said. “It’s a gift he gave us. It’s part of our heritage.”
