Barcelona Star Lamine Yamal’s Father Hospitalized After Car Park Stabbing

The father of SPAIN football player Lamine Yamal was stabbed “multiple times” in a car park.

According to reports, Mounir Nasraoui was rushed to the hospital in a “serious condition” on Wednesday, August 14 2024 evening after being stabbed multiple times.

Yamal’s father, a 17-year-old Euro star, was reportedly attacked following a fight.

According to La Vanguardia, Nasraoui was in critical condition before being transferred to Can Ruti hospital in Badalona, north east of Barcelona, via ambulance.

Despite his injuries, Nasraoui, 35, is said to be “stable” but “under observation” according to Relevo.

According to local accounts, multiple witnesses were there throughout the awful act, and several arrests have been made.

The Mossos d’Esquadra and Mataro’s municipal police force have initiated an investigation.

Nasraoui is known for being his son’s biggest fan, and he was present when the 17-year-old won the European Championship this year.

Yamal made his LaLiga debut for Barcelona at the age of 15, going on as a substitute and making an impact.

In doing so, he became the Catalan giants’ youngest player of the century.
