Regha took to social media to express his discontent with Obi’s decision to address the public feud between the P-Square brothers in person, rather than focusing on more urgent national concerns.

The controversy arose after Peter Okoye, one half of the famous musical duo P-Square, penned an open letter addressing accusations from his twin brother Paul. Paul had claimed that Peter had used the EFCC to arrest him and that he had written most of their songs. Following this public exchange, Peter Obi, the former presidential candidate, visited the Okoye brothers at their residence.

In response to the visit, Regha questioned the necessity and timing of Obi’s actions.

“So Peter Obi couldn’t talk to the Okoye brothers over the phone? He had to pay ’em a visit & do it in front of a camera,” Regha remarked.

He expressed disappointment that Obi chose to engage in what he sees as “clout chasing drama” rather than addressing more pressing issues facing the country.
