Ajao began her acting career in 2004 with her role in the film Ìgbà Aìmọ̀. Over the years, she has appeared in various movies, including Eniola, Erin Orin, and Daramola.

Notably, she starred in the 2018 film The Vendor and played the lead role in Yeye Alara, which was released in December 2018. In 2015, Ajao received a nomination for Best Actress in a Supporting Role in a Yoruba-language film at the Best of Nollywood Awards.

Although she did not win, her performance was widely recognized.
