According to the Daily Mail, Leicester City, newly promoted to the Premier League, has proposed the sum to secure the experienced Ghanaian forward.

Crystal Palace is reportedly considering the bid, as it aligns closely with their valuation of the 30-year-old.

“Leicester offer £4 million for Crystal Palace attacker Jordan Ayew. Palace considering the bid. Fee is within touching distance of what Palace are looking for,” tweeted Samik Mokbel of the Daily Mail.

Ayew, who has struggled for playing time under new manager Oliver Glasner, is a target for Leicester City, who are seeking seasoned Premier League players to bolster their squad.

With his contract set to expire in June 2025 and Palace already having lost winger Michael Olise to Bayern Munich, the club might be inclined to sell.

Last season, Ayew scored four goals and provided eight assists in 37 appearances for Palace. He also made headlines for Ghana by becoming the first player since 2017 to score a hat trick for the Black Stars in their 4-3 victory over the Central African Republic in a 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier.
