Cleveland Browns rookie defensive tackle Mike Hall Jr. has been charged with domestic violence in Avon, Ohio, after allegedly threatening a woman with a gun on Monday, August 12 2024 night, according to a police report.

Hall was arrested and booked on Tuesday. He pleaded not guilty at Avon Lake Municipal Court, where his bond was set at $10,000. A hearing is scheduled for September 10 2024.
The police report details a disturbing incident where Hall allegedly grabbed a handgun during an argument, pressed it against a woman’s temple, and threatened, “I will f—ing end it all. I don’t care.”
The woman, who identified herself as Hall’s fiancée and the mother of their 11-month-old child, said the argument began over the financial needs of her daughter from a previous relationship.
She also claimed that Hall screamed at her to leave the house, then dragged her by the feet down the driveway.
The woman’s mother provided a written statement corroborating these details, adding that she witnessed Hall strike her daughter with a baby bottle, choke her, push her head through a wall, and break down a bedroom door to drag her out.

When authorities arrived, Hall had already left the scene. The police observed signs of a physical altercation during a walkthrough of the home, as well as two handguns lying on a mattress.
The Browns issued a statement on Tuesday morning, saying, “We are aware of the incident involving Mike Hall Jr. last night. Mike and his representatives have been in touch with the appropriate authorities. We are in the process of gathering more information and will have no further comment at this time.”
NFL spokesperson Brian McCarthy added that the league is in contact with the Browns and will review the incident under the personal conduct policy.
The Browns selected Hall with the 54th pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. The Streetsboro native played college football at Ohio State University.
