The two artists had a public feud after Jaywon criticized Burna Boy’s claim that he didn’t have any industry predecessors.

In a recent chat with Ctdamongblacks, Jaywon acknowledged Burna Boy’s significant contributions to Nigerian music. He described Burna Boy as a “stubborn child” whose achievements in the industry have been impressive, even if his behavior has been less than ideal.

Jaywon also took the opportunity to address rapper Odumodublvck, who had made similar claims about not having any predecessors.

Jaywon dismissed these remarks, suggesting that Odumodublvck has not yet achieved enough to make such bold statements.

He revealed that his new song, originally titled “Letter to Burna Boy,” was renamed after Odumodublvck’s comments, though Burna Boy was the real inspiration behind the track.

Jaywon expressed his disappointment in Odumodublvck’s diss track aimed at him, feeling it did not meet his expectations for a rapper’s response.
