Femi Otedola Donates N5 Million and Scholarships to Parents of Viral Quadruplets

Billionaire businessman Femi Otedola has made a substantial contribution to the family of Sodiq Olayode, who recently welcomed quadruplets, through his charitable organization, the Femi Otedola Foundation (FOF).

Otedola donated N5 million to the Olayode family and pledged to fund university scholarships for two of the quadruplets.

The Olayode family’s story captured widespread attention after a colleague, Oyeniran James, shared their challenges on social media.

James, known as @jamysax on X (formerly Twitter), brought the family’s plight to light, noting that the quadruplets used 105 diapers in just six days. This led to over N19 million being raised through online donations from Nigerians.

On behalf of the Femi Otedola Foundation, Philip Akinola presented a cheque for N5 million to the Olayode family. In addition to the monetary donation, Otedola also committed to providing scholarships for the university education of two of the quadruplets.

James shared his emotional response to the donation on X, writing: “Guyssssssssssssssssss, Guess what ???? ‘#realFemiOtedola sent representatives to offer a cheque of N5 million to the parents of the quadruplets and also offered scholarships for the education of two of their kids till University. I’m in tears, guys.’”

This generous donation follows a previous contribution of N2 million from Airtel Nigeria
