Samu Omorodion was initially expected to leave Atletico Madrid for Stamford Bridge in a £34.5 million deal, which would have paved the way for Julian Alvarez to join the La Liga side as his replacement.

However, due to contractual issues, Samu Omorodion’s move has failed to materialise, raising concerns about the subsequent transfers involving Alvarez, who was also expected to move in the opposite direction.
Despite these setbacks, Manchester City and Atletico Madrid are still working towards finalizing Alvarez’s transfer.
Meanwhile, discussions continue regarding a potential return to London for Joao Felix, who spent time on loan at Chelsea in 2023.
In the coming days, more transfer deals will be made as teams hope to secure replacements of their sold players.
