McBrown to Sponsor the Release of 47 Inmates in Celebration of Her 47th Birthday

Actress Nana Ama McBrown is set to celebrate her 47th birthday on August 15 2024 by funding the release of 47 prison inmates.

This generous initiative was revealed by Ibrahim Oppong Kwarteng, CEO of the Crime Check Foundation, who shared that McBrown had previously discussed this plan with him.

In a video circulating online, Kwarteng praised McBrown’s decision, noting that she will be assisting inmates at Akuse Prison, among other facilities.

He expressed admiration for her commitment, stating, “Nana Ama McBrown will turn 47 on August 15, and she will be funding the release of 47 prison inmates. I know whoever is watching this is impressed and will say a prayer for her.”

Kwarteng, standing with some inmates in the video, emphasized the importance of supporting prisoners and sharing the good news with them, highlighting the challenges of life in prison.

This initiative aligns with McBrown’s earlier promise, made during a February 2024 appearance on the ‘McBrown Kitchen’ show, where she expressed her desire to contribute to Kwarteng’s philanthropic work by helping to pay fines and secure the release of inmates.
