Big Brother Naija Season 9 saw intense drama unfold as the Wanni X Handi pair nearly got into a physical altercation with fellow housemate Rhuthee following a revelation made by the show’s host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, during Sunday’s live show.

During the live broadcast, Ebuka put Rhuthee on the spot, asking her to clarify a comment she made about Wanni being “selfish and stingy.” Rhuthee explained that she had previously mentioned it directly to Wanni, emphasizing that while Wanni might be stingy with her food, she still enjoys sharing with others.

However, the revelation didn’t sit well with Wanni and her twin sister, Handi. After the live show, tensions flared, leading to a heated argument between the twins and Rhuthee, which nearly escalated into a physical confrontation. The situation was only diffused by the timely intervention of other housemates.

Rhuthee, unfazed by the confrontation, confronted the twins, daring them to say her name if they were bold enough. The twins, undeterred, responded in unison, chanting, “Rhuthee! Rhuthee! Rhuthee! You cannot do anything. Pepper body!”
In a later conversation with Handi and Kassia, Wanni accused Rhuthee of trying to provoke a fight for the sake of publicity. “She [Rhuthee] is a fake girl, waiting for something to happen for us to fight and give her highlights, but I won’t,” Wanni said.
Wanni also hinted that Rhuthee’s attempt to provoke her would backfire, as she believed that Rhuthee was already one of the housemates viewers wanted out of the house. “The karma that she’s one of the contestants that people want to see out of this house is enough for me. You know, she overthinks a lot. So, I know by now, her heart will be beating fast,” Wanni added.
